Where do I find more information about how the personality analysis works? The default template I’m provides gives 3 words but the character badge at the end mentions 5.

In short, our analysis generates over 100 individual traits. The 3 or 5 that you see are the top traits of an individual. You can find all the traits and download them as CSV file in the results page.
